With awards season now over, the Met Gala fills the void for best dressed lists! The trouble with the Met Gala for me is that fashion that you could consider as being 'out there' isn't really my thing so I don't often find many looks I really like at this event. However, this year's Met Gala was entirely different and I struggled to even pick a top ten!

Last night the Oscars finally came around so I'm back with another best dressed list! The Oscars are pitched as being the biggest award show of the season and it's usually where the celebrity fashion game is at it's absolute strongest (and weirdest to be somewhat fair).  The Oscars start too late in the night in the UK so I can't really ever watch the ceremony itself but I always check into the red carpet. In all honestly, I was really underwhelmed this year and quite frankly pretty disappointed. I didn't think the televised coverage was very good and the carpet was just generally quite long and slow moving. I thought the The Golden Globes were ace this year so maybe I was just expecting too much! Here are my best dressed celebs of the night:

It was the SAG Awards last night so I'm back with another best dressed list! I thought this red carpet was a bit slow to start but it did pick up around half way through. I wasn't as overwhelmed with the looks compared to the Golden Globes earlier this month but there was some really lovely looks. Here are my favourites:

Awards Season is OFFICIALLY back! I absolutely love awards season and if you have visited my blog before, you may have seen that I have covered the major awards shows before. It all really started when I was little as I used to love celeb spotting in the crowd of the British Soap Awards more than the actual show itself. I no longer watch the soaps (still do like the Soap Awards, it's a wee bit of a tradition in our house) and I'm really into my US TV and films so it's now all about the Globes and the Emmys.

I live blogged my favourite looks on the red carpet last night on Instagram but here is my full list of best dressed at the Golden Globes 2017. The fashion this time round was unreal, I sometimes struggle to pick a top 5 and this year's Globes could be a top 50!

What I Got For Christmas 2016

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you had a fantastic time over the holidays, I'm quite gutted that it is all over now! For my first post in 2017, I am going to share some of the lovely gifts I received for Christmas. I love these type of posts and I especially love the vlog version as I have to admit I am pretty nosy. I just find it so interesting to see the different types of gifts that people receive. I have to admit, I love a good snack. There is nothing I absolutely love more than shopping for healthy snacks. I'm not entirely sure that I can claim they are guilt free as they are so good that I usually eat twice as much...

I have loved dabbling with trying alternative vegan snacks lately so for this post, I am delighted to collaborate with Nuts.com who have plenty of ideas for healthy snack inspiration. I love savoury snacks and there is a great selection of healthier crisps out there.  A particular summer favourite of mine this year has been Trafo's Potato Chips. They are baked in coconut oil which has tonnes of benefit for your overall health. (You can even incorporate it into your beauty routine!) I have recommended them to friends who weren't overly keen as they do taste slightly oilier than regular crisps but I think they are a great product. I would be lying if I said I hadn't eaten a whole bag of these in one sitting before...

I can be a compulsive shopper at times so I found these to be very informative and I will definitely be keeping them in my mind the next time I pop into Boots "just for a look"and I fill a whole basket....

What I Got For Christmas 2015!

I am EXTREMELY late in posting this but I still wanted to share as I personally love reading these kinds of posts all year round haha. I took these photos ages ago and it has been a half complete post in my drafts for even longer, that's life... I received some lovely things for Christmas this year, it was the year for handbags and I have still yet to use them all! Usual disclaimer with these kinds of posts, I am absolutely not intending to brag, I simply love reading these posts so I wanted to do my own!

My main present from my Mum and Dad this year was a Prada handbag! I had this on my wish list (along with like 3 other handbags) but I really didn't expect to get so many! I only have one black handbag already which has gone a bit of shape now so I have been using this most days as black goes with every outfit. It also has a longer strap which you can't quite see in the photo. It's so classic and lovely.

My Favourite Looks from the 73rd Annual Golden Globes!

The Golden Globes were last night and I'm back again with a fashion post this week! If you've visited my blog before, you'll know that I really love awards shows. I love celebrity spotting and seeing what everyone wears! I'm a bit annoyed with myself though as I fell asleep during the ceremony and missed most of it... It starts at 1am in the UK so it's not exactly ideal! I never watch the whole thing because it goes on until around 4am but I usually last longer than the first half hour! My first look is Emilia Clarke in Valentino, yes it's black but it is so edgy! I rather like how it's not in your face but still very eye catching as it's classy and very modest.

BLOGMAS Day 16 - My Christmas Wishlist

Today, I thought I'd share a few things off my Christmas Wishlist! We have always had a wishlist at home. When we were little, we were allowed to ask Santa for 5 things. Now that we have grown older, we just write a list of things we'd like and we all pick inspiration from each others! I know asking for three handbags is a teeny bit excessive haha (a girl can never have too many handbags though...) but I'm hoping I might be lucky enough to get one!

BLOGMAS DAY 13 - Christmas Party Makeup!

Last night, I went to a Christmas Do so I thought I would share the products I used to create my makeup look! I wore this jumpsuit from Quiz with silver strap heels. I really loved wearing this as it was comfortable but yet still looked really festive and sparkly! I was also excited that it had pockets and I forgot to use them... I could of been carrying my phone around! In all honestly, I didn't mix my makeup up much from my everyday makeup look but I applied it generally a bit heavier than I'd wear normally.

BLOGMAS DAY 12 - Tanya Burr 'Deck The Hauls' Beauty Advent Calendar

I've really wanted to try a beauty advent calendar for a few years now but they are so expensive! My Mum very kindly made us one last year which contained make up, chocolate and cute little nativity figures. I documented it everyday for last years Blogmas. This year, I managed to pick up Tanya Burr's 'Deck The Hauls' calendar in the sale for £15! 

I mostly wanted to get this as I wanted to try the exclusive products included (It's also really, really cute). I didn't realise when I bought it though that it was only for the 12 days of Christmas so it would not last the whole month. I have decided to open this every 2nd day so it will last until the 23rd of December! I thought I would share what I have opened so far.

BLOGMAS DAY 11 - YouTuber Book Gift Guide

It seems like everytime a YouTuber makes a 'big announcement' that it is going to be that they are writing a book. There is literally a whole section of books by bloggers in shops now which is insane!  I've been a bit guilty in buying most of them and I feel it's either something you're gonna love or have no interest in. I have planned several Gift Guides for Blogmas but I wanted to put a little spotlight on Fleur De Force's Beauty Range. I ordered these items as soon as they were released a couple of months back and really should of mentioned them on here before now as they are so good! Fleur De Force was the first YouTuber that I ever watched so she has a special place in my heart within the YouTube community. Another awards show, another outfits post... Firstly, Selena Gomez looks absolutely stunning in red! I love how elegant this look is but yet still is very glamorous. Definiely one of the best looks of the night for me.
